I've received both a bit of magic and my notes on crumple horned snorkacks. I can only theorize as to why. This is good though. I doubt I'll find any here, but it keeps my mind fresh and open to new possibilities. Rolf always tells me an open mind is the best thing you can have.
Postman, I've been training birds. I think I have three that will work without fail. Two for sure, I'm not 100% convinced on the third, but he seems diligent enough to be given a chance.
Lorcan, I believe I've found a gnome hole. Would you like to come look with me?

Miss Amelie! I meant to tell you earlier - we're going to postpone the wedding. There's just too much for Rolf & I to cram in before then. Plus, there's absolutely no way my vows would be ready by Saturday. Thanks for everything you've done so far, though. After I find and train birds you can have the money Professor Snape gives me.
THE REST OF YOU, Rolf has always been the writer. To be honest, I much prefer drawing. So, I need your help. What sort of things does a person write in their vows? Aside from wanting to find crumple horned snorkacks together and that you'll always protect them from nargles and wrackspurts, I mean.

ATTENTION ALL INHABITANTS OF THIS ISLAND!!!!
There is going to be a WEDDING very soon! Rolf & I haven't yet set the date, but we have started planning. It will be in the evening, and will consist of a very short ceremony followed by a proper party reception. (Rolf, dear, how does the 28th work for you?)
IF YOU WISH TO ATTEND, PLEASE COMMENT HERE! Anyone and everyone is invited, we'll send invitations later, I reckon. To people who want to come with details and stuff. Dress is casual to fancy - really, just wear what you'd like. Keep in mind it will be on the beach, and may get cool in the evening. I suggest wearing butterbeer cork somewhere on your body to keep nargles away, buggers can't resist parties.
WEDDING PARTY: Bride: Luna Lovegood Matron of Honor: Ginny Potter Bridesmaids: Hannah Abott, Lily Luna Potter Fill-in Father of the Bride: Lorcan Scamander
Groom: Rolf Scamander Best Woman: Ainsley Scamander
( Guestlist )
(How's that Amelie? I think it's rather nicely organized, don't you?)

This place is fascinating, really. If it weren't for everyone here I'd really think work sent me. I've already stumbled across many things, one of which being a moon frog nest. I believe my disturbance warned them, since I've been watching and no further activity has occurred. Sadly, I reckon they have returned to their home on the moon. I scarcely blame them, poor creatures certainly do not trust humans.
Time is different here. I wonder, since we've all been pulled from random years, if time stands still here. Has anyone noticed a new grey hair or wrinkle? I reckon you won't. The birthday this weekend was really what started me thinking. Perhaps we shouldn't be celebrating birthdays, perhaps we don't age here.
Darling, since I've been told we have children, do you think we should get married here? As in, very soon? I wouldn't want our sons to come and find us unwed. They might begin to wonder no things children should wonder. I'd much rather them wondering when and where the moon frogs will return.

It all makes sense now.
I knew the moon had been full for too many nights in a row. Professor kept telling me I was seeing things, and that a full moon only lasts for one day. I was quite certain the moon was indeed full for three days in a row, but nothing happened. Father always says if the moon lasts for three days, misfortune is never far. In this case it took about a month, in fact I'd all but forgotten about the full moon.
I must apologize for not warning anyone. I had no idea that moon frogs were so powerful. I thought it might snow in the summer, or strike lightning twice all over the world. It appears they are much more powerful than that, and can draw people from different dimensions and times. How fascinating. Has anyone seen one yet? They are larger than average frogs, and they also have a shimmering white colour to their bodies. Unlike a typical frog's croak, they sound like a dying opera singer. That's because we cannot hear in the same frequency they can, if you have a pair of frequency alternators, set it to level 30 - the moon frog's detestable croak will sound like a gentle lullaby.
Unfortunately I do not know how to thwart them. Years ago moon frogs had all the literature written about them burned. It was a tragic day, really. I'm not sure why they didn't want people to know about them, but father managed to hold onto a few pages.
